Dr. Trevor Short
FOUNDER & ChIEf performance Scientist
Trevor Short is a Honolulu-based sport scientist and innovative systems engineer. With a Ph.D. in Kinesiology, his expertise lies in optimizing athletic performance through cutting-edge technology. Currently serving as a Performance and Sports Scientist at the University of Hawai‘i, Mānoa, he leads sports science initiatives and mentors graduate assistants. Trevor is also a Lecturer at the University, teaching courses in Strength and Conditioning and Exercise Physiology. As the Hawaii State Board Director for the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), he disseminates the latest information in strength and conditioning. With a strong background as a Chief Operating Officer and Director of Performance, Trevor brings strategic oversight and leadership to the field. He has a prolific publication record, numerous awards, and is a Certified Performance and Sport Scientist (CPSS) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Through mentorship, teaching, and research, Trevor is dedicated to advancing the field of sports science and positively impacting athletes' lives.
